Privacy
Privacy notice for this website.
This website is data-minimal by design. Marketing services such as the LinkedIn Insight Tag are loaded only after your consent.
1. Controller
Responsible for data processing within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):
optima apps GmbH, Wienerbergstraße 11/12a, 1100 Vienna, Austria
Email: office-at@optima-apps.com
Phone: +43 1 928 80 42
2. Principle
We process personal data only to the extent necessary to operate this website, to communicate with you or to fulfil legal obligations.
3. Hosting, server log files and language detection
When the website is accessed, technically necessary access data is processed by the hosting provider, for example IP address, time of access, requested URL, volume of data transferred, browser and operating-system information and HTTP status. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in providing the website securely and reliably (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Server log files are generally stored for a maximum of 14 days and then deleted, unless they are needed to investigate security incidents.
From the Accept-Language header your browser sends automatically, or from your browser's language setting, we derive the appropriate language version (German, English or Serbian) and suggest it to you without obligation. If you actively choose a language, this setting is stored exclusively locally in your browser so that it can be applied on future visits. No profiles are created and no data is transferred to third parties. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in delivering the website in a user-friendly, language-appropriate way (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
4. Getting in touch and appointment booking (HubSpot Meetings)
If you contact us by email, we process your details to handle your request and for possible follow-up questions. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual or contractual measures) or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (interest in answering your enquiry). The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required and no statutory retention obligations apply.
For appointment booking we use HubSpot Meetings provided by HubSpot Ireland Limited. When you book a slot, the data you enter (in particular name, email address, appointment details and optional notes) is processed to organize and carry out the meeting. HubSpot acts as a processor under Art. 28 GDPR; processing may also take place in third countries. Appropriate safeguards (in particular Standard Contractual Clauses) are used for these transfers. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures) and, where applicable, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (efficient appointment scheduling).
5. LinkedIn Insight Tag
With your explicit consent, this website uses the LinkedIn Insight Tag. The provider is LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company, Wilton Plaza, Wilton Place, Dublin 2, Ireland. The Insight Tag lets us measure the reach and effectiveness of our LinkedIn campaigns (conversion tracking), build audiences for advertising (retargeting) and obtain aggregated insights about website visitors (audience insights). If a visitor is logged in to LinkedIn, aggregated professional attributes (e.g. industry, job function, company size) may also be evaluated.
The data collected includes metadata such as IP address, timestamp, referrer, device and browser information as well as page events (e.g. page views). LinkedIn also processes this data on servers in the USA. LinkedIn removes the direct identifiers within seven days (pseudonymisation); the remaining pseudonymised data is deleted within 180 days.
The legal basis is solely your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Section 165(3) Austrian Telecommunications Act 2021 (TKG 2021). You can withdraw this consent at any time with effect for the future by disabling the “Marketing” category in the cookie banner (the “Cookie settings” link in the footer). You can also object to analysis by LinkedIn at linkedin.com/psettings/guest-controls/retargeting-opt-out. Further information is available in LinkedIn’s privacy policy.
Without your consent the Insight Tag is not loaded. Beyond this we use no analytics, marketing or tracking cookies; fonts and assets are served locally from our own web space.
6. Your rights
You have the right to access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21 GDPR). To exercise them, contact office-at@optima-apps.com.
7. Right to lodge a complaint
If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law, you can lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority:
